OUR GROUP : THE EURO SECTION
Let's speak about the European section and the subjects. Of course, we study English and two other subjects are taught in English : History and biology. In fact, we have more English lessons than the others. Last year, when we were in grade 10, most of the time we studied sustainable development and energy.
This year we continue to study history and biology in English. We have a new history teacher and, with him, we speak about The cold War. Our first chapter in biology was the DNA. This is very cool but we've only got one hour of these special lessons each week : one week it's biology and the following one we study history 😞.
Hélène Boucher, our high school
First, Helene Boucher is located in the center of Thionville in a very good spot : there are restaurants, shops and it is close to everything (cinemas, malls, etc).
This is a large general high school where you can study science, literature and economics. It is a well-known high school where there are around 1,200 students and the atmosphere is nice.
On the third floor, there is a place for boarders, but only for girls because the boarding school for boys is another high school.
This is the playground and, in the background, you can see the annex building. (not the towers, of course)
The exam room... a terrifying place...
